32 Weeks, 5 days

This was taken last week, I'm just slow. Actually I'm just really insanely busy, and equally tired which is making for some pretty long days. But overall I still feel pretty good. I think I'm going to be crossing over into full on misery land very soon though. Last night when I finally sat down my ankles we're nice and swollen and my lower back was killing me. But those are my biggest complaints- and it's not like my ankles hurt, they are just, well, cankles. So gross. At my doctor's appointment last week everything looks and is measuring perfect. Nothing too exciting to report there. But I did think it would be fun, or at least interesting for me to have as reference, to list some of the old wives tales, cravings, etc. as they relate to my pregnancy. I'm pretty sure Alice is supposed to be a boy based on most of the old wives tales, but rest assured, we've seen her 3 times since we found out she was going to be a girl and she still is. That or a very, very unfortunate boy. But I'm not going there.

Carrying: Low and pretty much all in my stomach. Really I think my stomach looks like a tear drop the way it's shaped now.

Heart Rate: Has also been on the lower end. The last couple month's it's constantly in the 130s to 140s.

Chinese Gender Charts: Boy.

Cravings: Homemade fruit smoothies, citrus, ice cream (well, all desserts, but ice cream every night), spicy food. I think most of these mean girl.

Anti-cravings: First trimester I couldn't look at, touch or eat chicken. Potato chips- they make me sick still.

Weird cravings: Ham- I HATED ham, but now I'm a little obsessed. Only good ham though. Not deli meat or really fatty ham.

MS: Lasted for a good 4 or 5 weeks during the first trimester, then pretty much cleared up entirely by the second.

Blake: Early on he was stuck on girl, then he switched his guess to boy. Should have stuck with your instinct, kid.

Movement: I didn't feel her move until around 19 weeks I think, and Zack didn't feel her for a time after that still. I have an anterior placenta, which is like having a pillow between her and my stomach. I know that sounds great when you're getting rib breaking kicks, but to an anxiety filled nut job like myself, it sucks. I can feel her move throughout the day, just not as strongly as the average person. And it sucks for Zack because since her movements are muffled, they aren't as big on the outside. Also she's a total brat, and stops moving the minute his hand touches me. I find that amusing personally. :)

I'm sure there are more but those are the ones that stuck out to me. So yeah, as I'm typing this I'm actually into the 33rd week, overall still feeling good (starting to get headaches again- I got a lot of those early on), but really getting anxious to hold this little one. Terrified, but excited. And that's it for now!
