I heart vacation. Especially vacation with my favorite people. Last weekend we packed up and headed down to Port A with the Preeces, Poloskeys and Moores. It was our first group trip with all of the kids, and I'm happy to report not only are we all alive, but we're already planning on doing it again. So it was relatively painless. :)
Really, it was a great time and the kids certainly add a different, but fun, dimension to vacations. Who doesn't love an excuse to bury yourself in sand and chase birds into the water? We stayed in a house in this great new community, Cinnamon Shores, where we will for sure stay again. It was nice, had a great pool, cafe for morning coffee, golf carts, and a clean beach. I think we learned some things for the next trip, like we will plan to eat ALL our meals at the house (we did prep well for breakfast and lunch), but overall it was a success. The beach is my favorite place in the world, and it was a great vacation.
